The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind. Forever in our hearts.
Rick was dearly loved by all and was amazing at bringing everyone together. I ask everyone who wishes to share their stories and remembrances, so we may all love and grieve together and celebrate his life.
A memorial will take place at Piner when it is safe to do so in the future.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations can be made to Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa, Yosmite Conservancy or a charity of your choosing.

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Rick’s passing. He was always kind to me during the time I worked with Mike. Rick would often stop by to say hello to Mike and several times he met us for lunch. After Mike had passed, I ran into Rick one day- he said “No one can take the place of My brother Mike, he was one of a kind.” I enjoyed working for this family. Sending Prayers and Comfort to Laura, family, and friends during this challenging time.

Dear Laura, You and Rick are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry that Rick was taken from you and your family, our family, so suddenly. I will always cherish the moments spent with Rick. You could always find him and I standing away in the corner of the room observing and commenting on the goings on at a GSM, or wine tasting. Rick and I had a something in common that made our friendship special to me...and I believe to Rick as well. I will miss him. My love to you Laura.
