Nancy's Daughter
Nancy Ann Olson (Pearl)
October 20th, 1943 - January 17th, 2026
October 20th, 1943 - January 17th, 2026
Nancy Ann Olson (Pearl) was born on October 20, 1943, in Chewelah, Washington, the second child of Phineas and Eva Pearl. She fell asleep in death on January 17, 2026, in Leesburg, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Olson, and her brother, Paul Pearl. Nancy is survived by her siblings Donna Pearl, James Pearl, and Ruth Dusbabeck (Frank); her daughters Lisa Olson, Julie Willette (Willie), and Sherry Taylor (Joel); and her grandchildren Jared Olson, Kendall Taylor, and Mickayla Olson.
Nancy loved Jehovah from a young age and was baptized at 12 years old on January 9, 1956. She married Harry Olson on November 11, 1961, and they shared 53 happy years of marriage.
Nancy was a devoted mother and wife. She spent much of her life caring for others—beginning with her mother and siblings after the loss of her father, and continuing through decades of loving service to family, friends, and congregation members. Her home was always welcoming, her advice thoughtful, and her hospitality well known.
She worked in Human Resources at Riverton (Highline) Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 2008. Nancy and Harry loved traveling with their family, culminating in a cherished trip to Australia for an international convention in 2003.
Known as Meme to her grandchildren, Nancy found great joy in family life. She faithfully served Jehovah for 70 years and will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and devotion. She will be missed by all who knew her.
We look forward to seeing her beautiful blue eyes again in the new world.

When I saw the picture of Nancy on her Memorial card my first thought was, Nancy looks exactly as I will always remember her. My second thought was, I see Harry beside her as he always was. Nancy was always kind to my family. She was an anchored line to reach out to if you needed a friend to talk with. If waters were stormy she could be counted on to help you hold fast. She was known as a woman who listened and gave sound counsel laced with love. Personally, I will not forget her voice saying; "OH Rhett...", at the beginning of a sentence or at the end of one. Soon, I expect to hear her voice again saying; "Oh, Rhett..."

She will be remembered for her warm greetings, hospitality and faithfulness.

I remember spending the night at Nancy's house, all the lil girls in the hall. Lisa and Julie had us do a My Book of Bible Stories drama. We all dressed up and acted out the story of Shadrach, Meschac, and Abednego and the angel in the fiery furnace.
