Dear professor Michael and your family, I am a master student from Vietnam. I am well known Professor. Michael W. Lodato through the book: "Integrated Sales Process Management: A Methodology for Improving Sales Effectiveness in the 21st Century". The book shows and provides lots of useful knowledge contributing to my thesis. I appreciate to Professor Michael. And I hope your knowledge will spread more widely to help intellectuals who build a better world. Sincerely, Kelvin Khang

Just a reflection of some of the things Michael and I shared over the years. I met Michael toward the end of the 70's. The husbands of the wives in the National Charity League formed a softball team and played in the Conejo Rec league. Sandra was not a NTL member but the boys asked me to play for them. Michael always came to the games wearing a pancho as we played in the fall and it could get quite cold for the later games. He was our catcher and one game a relay throw came to the plate and Michael missed it. I asked Michael after the game how he could have missed that perfect throw and he said that he had his glove by his left shoulder and the ball hit him in the right shoulder. He had a dry sense of humor. He said his sport was football and golf. At the end of the season we always had a team party at my house. Beef Wellington, clams, mussels, elk pate' and of course spirits. Michael printed the menu on white paper and rolled it up and tied it with a blue ribbon. Kate Brown who was the society editor of the local paper, attended one of our events and took photographs and published a recap of the affair in the paper. She stayed until the boys got a little outgoing singing some dirty songs. We didn't invite the wives because they sopped coming to our games. We had a weekly breakfast with Trouville and Kerby at the Agoura Deli. Then when Trouville was at Mary Health of the Sick we would go to mass and then have breakfast with Trouville and Kerby. Then it was breakfast with Kerby, Michael and me. Then there was just Michael and me. We would meet once a week for lunch at various restaurants in the area. Michael was always longing for pasta and marinara sauce. Iwill miss my friend. Dege

To this day I still use his 'MASTER' method for presentations, and it always helps me get past writer's block. Forever grateful to have had him as an instructor in grad school. CLU MBA '97 (I think)

Michael was a dear neighbor, friend, social and golfing buddy for over 50 years. I'm lucky to have been able to share those wonderful times with Michael and Sylvia. Perhaps my greatest memories come from the annual Christmas letter that Michael wrote and which I anticipated receiving. They contained so much reflection over events, big and small over the preceding year and with so much witticism. I'll miss him greatly. Condolences to all of his wonderful family.

Memories of Michael: Such a sense of humor! During the pandemic we spent a couple evenings a week at the Lodato's patio. Michael regaled with jokes and limericks and one liners ( that sometimes went over my head). He loved our nine and dine group at University Village Thousand Oaks. We played nine holes of golf and went to an ethnic restaurant for dinner. He had a thirst for knowledge and provided us with thought provoking ideas and loved when we challenged him. We will miss him!
