Melissa Anne Tefft, 41, of Vincent, Ohio, passed away September 21, 2018. She was born on May, 9, 1977 in Parkersburg, WV. Melissa graduated from Warren High School and proudly served in the US Navy. Melissa is survived by her husband of nineteen years Martin A. Tefft, sons Cullen Tefft, Landen Tefft, parents Jeff and Debbie Lockhart Wallbrown of Belpre, brother Matt Wallbrown of Cincinnati, paternal grandfather Charlie Wallbrown, maternal grandparents Chester and Leona Lockhart. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother "Nana" Wallbrown.

Aunt Patty Ward & Danny

Dear Marty & boys, I'm terribly sorry to hear of Missy's passing. She & I had many hours of wonderful talk the day we spent at the nursing home with Mom. I learned a lot about her happy times & hard times. Just loved getting to know her. She was so gentle & loving that day. My prayer is that she is peaceful now with the Lord. God be with you & the boys.

I sit here with tears reading about Missy and thinking about Marty, Cullen and Landen. She loved them beyond words. I got to know her and her beautiful family a few years ago when they decided to sell their house in Belpre (2 houses) and buy their country home. I got to see her last year. She was the same sweet girl. She was showing me her very clean house (as usual) and talking about the boys. She is the only client I ever had that sent me 18 long stem roses as a thank you after our closing. We became friends and she knew I cared about her. Its heart breaking to learn of her passing. Too young!!! Rest in peace beautiful girl and know you touched my life and I will always remember you. I am sending my love to her parents, Marty, Cullen and Landen.

Mr. Roberts, Your Sixth Grade Teacher

Cullen and Landen, I am sorry to hear about the passiong of your mother. Know that I am thinking about you and your family. I remember you both in my sixth grade science class and your mother always visiting at conference time. Landen, you were my little buddy. If you ever want to talk or need a place to hang out at school, please come see me.

Was saddened to see this notice. Melissa's parents lived beside us when she and Matt were born. They were sweet kids. Our prayers are with the entire family that the Lord may wrap His comforting arms about you.
