Matias Gonzales, 85, passed away on July 15, 2024, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Matias was born in Santa Fe, NM on September 27, 1938, to his parents Matias and Irene Gonzales. He proudly served in the United States Army as a corporal.
Matias is preceded in death by his parents; his son Matias L. Gonzales; his sister, Dolores Dotson; and his brother, John Gonzales. He survived his beloved wife of 56 years, Elosia Gonzales; his grandchildren Abbygail (Goyo), Lawrence (Danielia), GIllyAnna (Noah); and his great grandchildren John, Mason, Matti, and Lukas.
A Rosary will be held on July 31, 2024, at St. John’s Catholic Church at 10:00am., followed by a mass at 11:00am Burial will take place at 1:00 pm at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
