My heart felt condolences to Charlie and Shanie and families of Mary Lucero. I want to First say how happy and grateful I am to have met such a kind, funny and sweet lady. Mary treated me with open arms and received me as her nephew. The first day my wife introduced me to Tia Mary she greeted me with a smile. She said in Spanish Este Miera como mí Hermano Juan. She gave me so much attention it's like I had known her for a long time. She served us a meal and we spoke she really wanted to know about me. Mary gave me attention and made me feel so welcomed. We talked about music and she began to sing a song that I will always remember and never forget. It is one of my favorite songs "Way down yonder", but she had a different spin to it and added her own words from Chimayo and chili. I can tell you there are no words to say how much this wonderful lady meant to me. I'm grateful that I got to meet her and her daughter Charlene. They received me as a member in the family and I will never forget them. May Tia Mary find her peace now for she is in the house of the Lord. My thoughts and prayers remain with her loved ones may they find comfort in our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless Love Nephew Johnny Martinez
