Mary was truly one of a kind, someone whose memory brings joy whenever we think of her. Our deepest condolences to her family.

Mary has been our neighbor for 15 years. She and I would warn each other about coyotes and bobcats coming in either her direction or mine due to our small pets:). Her spirit and light will be missed. She was amusing and entertaining to talk to. We shared stories of caring for mothers all while trying to keep our sanity as caregivers. I still look over there hoping to see her working in her yard in her shorts, tshirt and flip flops. Our text messages to each other regarding why there may be a fire truck in front of our homes so we the other wouldn’t be alarmed because we both called them to get rid of rattlesnakes in our yard. The point is that we checked on each other and we knew that whatever was needed on either end we would make it happen. When her garbage can was out longer than usual we would returned it and she was like thank you I just wasn’t feeling well. Well, when she felt better we caught her on a security camera returning ours and saying to the camera “did you catch my butt”… LOLOL Recently, she brought over some plants for us to plant because I always envied her yard. She kept it so nice and preserved the desert look. Rest well my friend and I hope that you are frolicking, sipping great wines, talking to friends and family that left us to soon and having a great adventure because in my mind you are just on long vacation. I know the family misses her dearly and I so appreciated them contacting me as she was transitioning. Blessings to you all! -Damon and Maria (Max and Maddie too 🐶🐶)

It's not the same here without you Mary.

Mary was a truly kind person with an infectious sense of humor. I will always remember that big beautiful smile. I met Mary back in the 1980's working on commercials in Los Angeles. She was Stylist and Decorator. She had wonderful taste, a great work ethic and was always quite thoughtful and generous to her crew. She would often take us out for a fancy dinner on Melrose after completing a project. We shared many laughs together, and heartfelt moments as well, and as such... I am grateful that I met Mary and was able to spend time with her. She will always be with us. We send all our love to Mary's family.

Mary was such a beautiful spirit. I am a much better person because of her. Photo shows Mary driving a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado “convertible full of pretty girls” during the filming of a TV commercial in downtown LA, 1988.
