Maria Guadalupe Anaya Garcia, aged 88, passed away peacefully on March 17,2024, in her home surrounded by family. She was born on September 12,1935, in Chihuahua,Chihuahua Mexico, to Geronimo Garcia and Soledad Garcia Hurtado. Maria leaves behind her husband Jose Jesus Anaya , their children Jesus Armando (Theresa) Anaya, Jose Luis Anaya, Jaime (Sue) Anaya, Patricia (Michael) Paterson and Gloria Soledad Anaya. She loved and was very proud of her 12 grandchildren / 7 great grandchildren.

Our lita was the best grandma in the world. She was funny and also the strongest person I knew. She loved her whole family, and I always felt proud to be her granddaughter. We will miss her so much, and I hope to one day see her again.
