Lynda Gail Sexton

In the gentle embrace of a summer's day, we bid farewell to Lynda Gail Sexton, whose spirit took flight on June 27, 2023, in Montgomery, Alabama. Born on November 26, 1953, in the quaint town of Rutledge, Alabama, Lynda was a cherished daughter of Sara Nell and Billy O'neal Sexton. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and the warmth of family.

For 31 years, Lynda dedicated her days to Rheem Manufacturing in Montgomery, where her diligence and kindness left an indelible mark. Yet, it was in the quiet moments of weekend window shopping and the joyous gatherings with her beloved grandchildren that her heart truly sang. Her legacy is carried forward by her children, Lynn Inglis, Lisa Lumley, Michael Shempert, and Kristen Williams, and her grandchildren, Nichole Henley, Jamie Inglis, Abby Long, Sarah Bunch, Ryan Holland, and Emma Holland.

Lynda's journey was not without sorrow, as she was preceded in death by her parents, her son John Sexton, and her brother William O'neal Sexton. Yet, through the trials and triumphs, her spirit remained a beacon of resilience and grace.
