Lily Buckman

Lily Buckman, a 31-year-old resident of the small town of Mansfield, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on March 19th, 2023. Lily was born on July 7th, 1991, in San Francisco, California, and grew up in a loving family with her parents and two older sisters. She attended the University of California, where she earned a degree in environmental science. After graduation, Lily moved to Millfield to work as a park ranger at the local state park. She was passionate about preserving the natural beauty of the park and educating visitors about the importance of conservation. In her free time, Lily enjoyed hiking, camping, and photography. She was known for her infectious smile and kind heart, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Lily is survived by her parents, sisters, and her beloved dog, Charlie. A memorial service will be held at the Millfield Community Center on March 26th, 2023, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Millfield State Park in Lily's memory. It is a tragedy to lose someone so young and full of promise. Lily's dedication to environmental conservation and her kind spirit will continue to live on through the memories of those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
