Traveling Well

Lillian Marie Baker was born on March 19, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to Gloria and Leroy Baker. Her father preceded her in death. As the second-oldest of seven children, Lillian served as both guide and daredevil to her sisters Evelyn (Hamid Burroughs), Debra, Yvonne Smith and Donna (Ken Johnson) as well as her brothers Charles A. Potter (Maria Long) and Leroy Baker Jr. Her siblings called her Dollbaby. It's no secret that Lillian was ALL heart! Not only did she share that heart with her siblings, but in a union with Michael Williams (Geraldine), father of her only child, Angela Williams. Lillian also saved some of that heart to share with her two grandsons, Damani and Kahlil Hanks. Lillian LOVED LOVED LOVED to travel! During and after a 20-year career as a Technical Engineer at CBS, Lillian traveled the world. She visited more than seven countries on three continents, and lived briefly in both Panama (Central America) and Thailand (Asia). Lillian also loved to cook. Her specialties were Dominican chicken, turkey and dressing, and macaroni and cheese. She also loved people to cook for her. Lillian was known to walk into a kitchen or peek at a meal laid out on the table and say "Mmmmmmmmmmmm!" Lillian made the ultimate travel journey onward on July 11, 2018. Although she will be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends alike, we know that Lillian is laughing, smiling, and enjoying her adventure. Travel well! We love and miss you!
