I got the message last night that you probably wouldn't make it until Friday. My only thought was to make sure I see you one last time why you were warm. I took that drive to Hampton last night with so many good memories. When I got there you looked so peaceful as if you were sleep. Tears begin to drop because I had the dream not to long ago, but I was hoping it wouldn't be soon. My mother and I got your message. Your family said you told them to call Mona' and Barbara. They had no clue who we were, but it made us smile. This morning, I got the call you transition, my heart was broken, but I was able to smile. I remember Ms. Wilson telling my mother you was great at Math and would tutor me. I hated math. I had no clue that we would bond and you would become part of my family. You meant a lot to my mother and I. I stopped by your house last week and I got no answer, I had no clue where you were. I even called your phone. This isn't a goodbye Mr. Barnhart, more like see you later. Your Mona. ❤️🤞🏾

Lee is my uncle. I am finding that the more photos I find, the more I want to post them. I was fortunate to be at home with Lee and our family when he passed.

Mr Barnhart was truly a blessing to many children. He gave my daughter the help she needed to succeed. She is now 34 yrs old and attributes him with her successes. The world lost a fantastic person with his passing.
