Larry Evan Wright

To me, my grandfather (Larry Wright) was an inspirational humorous man whose best skill was being, me and my cousins' grandfather. After the funeral, and endless crying, I went into my room and picked up the beautiful poem Papa wrote for me. That's when I realised even through my grandfather is dead, spiritually he will always be within our hearts. I remember, the last time I saw him. he kept going on about if I had any troubles, he would get up from wherever he was, and fly straight to Australia... I also remember this time, in 2019 when he and Nana came to visit Australia, we were in a holiday house. It was swarming with mosquitoes, and Papa had this large bag of Mars bars. Mom said I couldn't have any, so Papa kept sneaking them to me now and then throughout our stay. We got caught, I regret nothing! I also remember almost every time I saw my grandfather, he would always mention that when he took me to Disneyworld, it was all worth it just to see my face light up as we passed the Disney castle on the boat. My grandfather, Larry was my first and only grandfather. I miss him with all my heart. Therefore I created this tribute to him, because I adore him. Love Della-rose
