Souvenirs

Landon Coggin, a vibrant soul known for his loving nature and kind heart, left this world far too soon on January 30, 2025, at the tender age of 13. Born on March 24, 2011, in Boca Raton, FL, Landon's infectious smile and boundless energy brought joy to all who knew him.

Landon was the cherished son of Kristina and Justin Tomczuk, who nurtured his gentle spirit from the moment he entered their lives. His baby brother, Jaxson Tomczuk, looked up to him with adoration and will carry the lessons and love from his big brother forever in his heart. Landon's grandparents, Robin and Bob Coggin, along with his great-grandmother, Gertrude Taylor, were sources of wisdom and comfort throughout his life. His favorite uncle, Chad Coggin, shared a special bond with Landon, one filled with laughter and memorable adventures. Landon's extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, will miss his friendly demeanor and the warmth he extended to each family gathering.

As a student at Woodlands Middle School, Landon was a bright light in the classroom and an enthusiastic participant in school activities. His teachers and classmates will fondly remember his eagerness to learn and his willingness to help others. Landon's academic journey was cut short, but the impact he made on his school community will be felt for years to come.

Landon's passions extended beyond the school walls. He was an avid sports enthusiast, with basketball and football being his favorite pursuits. Whether he was playing in a game or cheering on his friends, his sportsmanship and team spirit were undeniable. Landon's love for his dog, Rocket, was evident to all who saw them together. Their unbreakable bond and shared adventures brought immense happiness to Landon's life.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Landon will attest to his loving nature. He was the epitome of kindness, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. Friends of Landon will remember his approachability and how he could turn any stranger into a friend with his easygoing personality.

Landon's absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his family takes solace in the memories they have created together. His life, though brief, was a testament to the power of love and the impact one individual can have on the world around them. Landon's spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him to live with kindness, cherish their loved ones, and approach life with the same joy and enthusiasm that he did every day.

As we say goodbye to Landon Coggin, we celebrate the time we had with him and the countless ways he touched our lives. We will hold onto the love he shared and the bright moments that defined his life. Landon's legacy will endure in the hearts of his family and friends, and his story will be told with affection and pride for generations to come.

There are no words to truly express our deepest condolences. The news was incredibly devastating and heartbreaking. As a mother of two boys, my heart trembled upon hearing it. It is unfortunate that we were unable to attend the ceremony held in Landon’s memory, but please know that our family has been united in prayer for the eternal rest of his soul and for strength for all of you. We are truly sorry for your loss. Ninoska Sánchez 754.207.0920 8186 Cadre Noir Rd. The Fields

To Landon, Although we never had a close relationship, mainly we were both at the same events at the same time because of family, you were always a joy and funny kid to be around. You always loved to play with the kids, truly i don’t think i ever saw you on your phone, always wanting to be present with the family and hanging out. I always admired that the most about you since as typical teens, they’re glued to their phones. However, that was not you, you always wanted to play with Logan and the other cousins, then when your baby brother was born, he became the light in your eyes. You have impacted so many people with your beautiful, radiant character. There will never ever be enough words to express how much we will miss you Earthside. I pray for the healing of your mom, dad, baby brother & all the family who loves you so dearly. I have immense faith you will always watch over them and make sure they are safe and happy. Even though you physically left this world, your spirit will forever live on through all those that know you and love you. You left a legacy behind, one that will forever be honored by your greatness. I hope there’s a ton of sports wherever you are, and you always win every single game. Rest in peace sweet Angel 🪽

Landon, from the moment I met you and looked into your captivating baby blue eyes, it was clear you were destined to make a lasting impact on the world. Surrounded by immense love upon your arrival, you were the center of your mother's world. While I may not have always been the perfect aunt, I held a deep affection for you, wishing only the best as you grew. Your mischievous smirk, whether seeking attention or up to some innocent trouble, never failed to bring a smile to my face, and will forever remain etched in my memory. Our Friday Chili dates will forever be one of my fondest memories. As you grew older, I watched you grow into an amazing young man and older brother. Your radiant light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved you and will continue to shine during each Florida sunset. I promise I will watch over Mom and Jackson until we all meet again. I know god had bigger plans, although we may not understand. Rest in peace sweet angel, watch over us all and know you are missed.

Dear Coggin Family, My heart goes out to each of you, and I am so incredibly sorry for this tremendous loss. I still remember going to the house on Woodchuck Lane with my mom to see Kristina and hold Landon for the first time. He was such a beautiful baby, and it’s been such a joy to see him grow up through all the photos I’ve seen on Facebook. I was devastated to hear this news, and I mourn this loss with each of you. There are truly no words for this kind of tragedy, but please know that you have an army of people who love your family so much. I know one day we will all see Landon again, and I hope you know how incredibly lucky he was to grow up in such a loving and kind family. I still think of you all so often and have so many fond memories of Kristina and the rest of the family. Kristina, I have always looked up to you since I was a little girl, and I still do, as you are such an inspiration as a strong and loving mother. Sending all my love, Mia Camejo

Dear sweet Landon. This is my letter to you. As I sit here trying to find the perfect words for the perfect boy, I don't think that there is anything I could really say to express all of the emotions that I am feeling right now. I guess I will start by telling you how much you are loved and are missed. The mark that you've left on this world will never be forgotten. You had a purpose in this life to touch the hearts of so many and to bring joy to those around you. Over the past two weeks since you had to leave us, I've heard stories from so many different people and how much they loved and cared for you. Stories of fun times that you've had with friends, family, teachers, and everyone else in between has brought passing smiles to us all. I've had the chance to reflect on wonderful memories that I have of you since you were just a baby, and those memories bring my joy. I've also had the rare opportunity to see how a community can come together in a time of great anguish, and support each other in many different ways…and all in your memory. They came for you. It really was a light in all of the darkness that we are all feeling. On the other side of things, I would also like to tell you that I am also struggling. I am struggling to make sense of this. Why did this happen? Why did it have to be you? It doesn't seem just or fair. You didn't deserve to be taken so soon. You deserved to live out a long and fulfilling life with your amazing mom and beautiful little brother. But....I guess this was God's plan for you and I have to trust that he needed you more than we did. I thank God for giving you to your mom when he did. You were your mom, grandparents, Gigi’s first and greatest blessing and I know how much they all loved you and will love you forever. I also thank God for giving your mommy Jaxson, so that she can always see you in his eyes. You will always be here for her through him and in little signs such as the brightest star in the sky, like you were last night. You are her angel now. I know she will make sure that he grows up to know you through all of the photos and videos that she has of you two. I take comfort in knowing that you will live on forever in our hearts and that you will be watching over your mommy and Jax. You were such an amazing son, brother, grandson, and friend. You truly were a blessing for so many people. Recently, you came to me in a dream, and I thank you for the visit. It told me that you are safe, in no pain, and in a better place. I will never forget it and I will hold it close to my heart forever. When your mommy is ready, I know that you will visit her in one of her dreams and give her the comfort that I know she needs. I love you so much and until we meet again <3
