Waiping Chim and Chim Family
To Kay and Jane, On behalf of the Chim family, I send our deepest condolences for your loss. Your mother was such a wonderful and kind person to our family; I remember she went on this huge MISSION in HK to get me my very first suit from G2000 when we were going for our first serious jobs post Duke. My mother treasured her friendship with Kwaiping, they enjoyed reminiscing about growing up in HK during a memorable time. Your mother had a deep understanding for people, society and nuance that I am sure is carried on by both of you, her wonderful daughters that she was so proud of. She had such a wonderful sense of humour, playful silliness and appreciation for cute things that I KNOW will be carried on by the future generations...and she will be truly, truly missed. May she Rest In Peace.

Dear Jane and Kay--I'll always remember your mother as bursting with joy and love for life and especially for her family. One of my favorite memories is from Ted's Presidio graduation weekend, where she was trying to help us get Merrell to sleep. Of course Merrell was having none of it, but this little series of pictures always remind me of Kwai Ping's ability to connect, make people smile, and live in the moment. We're so sorry for your loss! Love, Selene, Curan, and Merrell
