YEOH PENG LEE (May 23, 1945 ~ November 11, 2019) Our Mom was a force to be reckoned with, a woman ahead of her times. She taught us, her daughters to be independent and strive for the best. Her love of gardening was contagious. She had an excellent command of the English language and taught us well. KHOO ENG HUAH (August 15, 1932 ~ August 9, 2021) Our Dad is fondly remembered for his love of badminton, ACS Union, the Old Frees Association and HSBC. He knew no stranger as everyone was his friend. He was always ready with a smile, generous with a big heart and ready for kopi-o. His love of CKT, seow bak and Kampung Malabar bak moi was known to all.

Message from Cynthia's friend, Judie List-Sweeney who joined the Zoom call: Happy 89th birthday today to your dad!! The service was just right & later you can fill me in more. But wow: Your dad loved to eat. Lots of stories about food. He helped finance a car for his brother-in-law. Chandler said it was the best part of his life to have had all those rich memories in Malaysia with all of the family. And more! So glad you sisters are together and so sorry Magi has to move. 😞

Chandler Robinson

I will always cherish my memories of Ah Mah and Ah Kong. I distinctly remember the times hanging out with Ah Kong, trying to teach me how to play Snooker when I could barely even see over the table. Although it wasn't the easiest for us to communicate when I was a young kid, I always felt the love of a grandfather to a grandson. I will never forget the experiences I've had visiting Penang, Ah Mah, and Ah Kong and always felt all of their love and support as their only grandchild. I look forward to returning to Penang throughout my life with their memories forever in my heart.

My deepest condolences to the family. He was a great encouragement for me when I was in the MC of ACS Union. An excellent badminton player, he used to give me some valuable pointers. A very caring person too. RIP Mr Khoo.
