Karyn "Chicken" Denise Rideout

It is with great sadness that the family announces the unexpected passing of Karyn Denise Rideout, of Windsor, Ontario, in her 49th year.

 

Beloved daughter of Raymond Rideout and the late Barbara Ann Rideout. Loving sister to Paula MacDonald of Nova Scotia and Bryan Rideout (Stephanie Droullard).

 

Karyn was the cherished mother of Paul Rideout (Destiny Cruz) and proud grandmother to Isiah Rideout. She leaves behind her dear nieces Kylee and Scarlett, nephews Bentyn and Brandon, and great-nephew Carter. She will be forever missed by many close friends and extended family members.

 

Karyn was a beautiful soul—full of life, with a smile that could light up any room. She will be remembered for her witty sense of humour, her kind and generous heart, and her unwavering strength. Karyn always put others before herself and brought joy to those around her.

 

A dedicated and hard-working employee at Tim Hortons for 17 years, Karyn faced her battle with cancer with grace and courage.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to local mental health services—a cause close to her heart.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Families First Funeral Home. Service and burial details will be announced at a later date.

 

She was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
