Junior Ray Adkins

Junior Ray Adkins, 68, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away January 25, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 3, 1954 in Alkol, West Virginia and was the son of late Don and Bessie Adkins. Junior is survived by daughters Patricia Adkins, Summer Heightland And Natasha Adkins, Granddaughters Kristina Hinkle and Arianah Brooks, Grandsons Zachariah and Matthew Heightland, and Great grandchildren Dominic, Cecelia, Rylee and Barrett Hinkle. Siblings Bobby Ray, Octavia, Alan, Robert, Becky, John, Lisa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse Rebecca Adkins, grandson Eric Adkins, siblings Susan, Willie, Don Jr. , Nannie, and Gladys. Junior enjoyed gardening, bird watching, hunting and fishing, watching westerns, listening to music, spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. He loved his birds and anything camo. There will be no services. A private cremation will be done at Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society.
