With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Julissa. She was more than a sister, mother, daughter, titi, and wife, she was a woman of unwavering faith, a warrior who faced every challenge with grace, and a light to everyone blessed to know her.
Her strength was inspiring, her love unconditional, and her spirit unshakable. She touched countless lives with her kindness, laughter, and grace. She was also incredibly funny, even in her hardest days, she found ways to make us laugh, reminding us of the joy in life and to keep our eyes on Jesus. And oh, how she loved Christmas and watching Hallmark movies with her besties. To us, she wasn’t just family, she was our rock, our best friend, and our safe place.
We have attached the link for her GoFundMe, which is being used to contribute to a beautiful service that reflects the love, laughter, and faith she carried every day of her life. Her reliance and love of our Lord and Savior was an example and testimony we will all carry in our hearts. No contribution is too small, and every act of love, whether a prayer or a kind word, means so much to our family during this time.
Thank you for helping us honor Julissa’s life and carry her legacy forward.
With love and gratitude,
Sofia Fernandez

Julissa was a godsend for me. She spoke with me and walked me through my breast cancer journey. She encouraged me and told me I wasn’t crazy. My expectations weren’t out of line from doctors. Caregivers she introduced me to her organic tea and oh my it was so delicious and it was so healthy as well. My prayers continue to go out to her family. May God continue to strengthen and encourage them. May God use this to show his saving grace, his mercy, and that her prayer: she will see all her family in eternity with her Lord and Savior is answered.
