Souvenirs

Julie Heath Taylor, 61, of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, passed away on March 19, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Julie will be remembered for her unconditional love for family, friends, and animals.  She dedicated her life to serving people.  Her career started in the medical field before returning to school for a degree in special education while simultaneously raising her three small children.  She later decided to further her education by earning a master’s degree and educational leadership certification.  Julie finished her career as a principal at Hayes Middle School in Grand Ledge, Michigan. Julie loved riding and driving her horses, sewing beautifully made quilts for her family, spending time in her garden, cooking, and enjoying time with her family all with Dave by her side.

Julie is survived by her loving husband of 44 years David Clayton Taylor, her children Steven Taylor (Abby), Nicholas Taylor (Amee), and Danielle Jahnke (Bryan), her seven grandchildren Reese, Silas, Lottie, Finn, Lara, Leo, and Hadley, and sisters Teresa Osborn (Ray) and Lynda Becherelli (Antonio) and many nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Sue and Richard Heath and Ron Christensen.

Per Julie’s wishes, the family will host a celebration of her life in the spring when the sky is blue, the grass is green, and the tulips are blooming.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Blood Cancer Foundation of Michigan.
