Joshua Ray Dean
7 de diciembre de 2000 - 26 de diciembre de 2023
7 de diciembre de 2000 - 26 de diciembre de 2023
Joshua Ray Dean, known by many affectionate titles - big brother, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend - departed this world on December 26, 2023, leaving a profound void that no one will ever be able to fill. Born on December 7, 2000, in Grapevine, TX, Josh spent his 23 years making a lasting impact on the lives of those around him.
Josh loved his time at and classmates from Christ the King School and particularly at Catholic High School, where he found a deep sense of camaraderie and brotherhood. These schools left an indelible mark on both Josh and those fortunate enough to share those experiences with him.
Josh's heart was as expansive as his list of roles, and he found great joy in working with children at CTK after care. Whether engaging in sports or challenging them to a game of chess, he left an indelible mark on the young minds he encountered, fostering a love for learning and play.
Preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Dean, of Prague, OK, Josh is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Jennifer Dean, his sister Jill Dean, and his brother Jonathan Dean, all residing in Maumelle, AR. He is also survived by his grandmother Sandra Dean of Prague, OK; uncle Jason and wife Wendy of Carl Junction, MO; grandparents Scott and Betty Dougall of Sapulpa, OK; uncle Ryan Dougall and wife Lindsey of Tulsa, OK; uncle Sam Dougall of Stillwater, OK, along with numerous great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.
Josh's legacy extends beyond his time on Earth, as he will be remembered for the boundless love he had for his family, with a special place in his heart for both his sister Jill and little brother Jonathan. His warm spirit, caring nature, and the joy he brought to others will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known him.
As we mourn the loss of Joshua Ray Dean, let us also celebrate the vibrant life he lived, the love he shared, and the positive impact he had on all who were privileged to be a part of his journey. May his memory continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who grieve his passing.
The family would love for you to post your own pictures, stories, or memories about Josh.

Josh. you are so so loved and missed. i have known josh since high school, but my boyfriend (logan) met josh last year. logan was heartbroken to hear you have moved on. shit, everyone was heartbroken. the one regret i have is not asking josh to send the pictures i took of him and logan together this past summer. logan actually gave josh his tattoos on his lower arm over the summer and that is such a fun memory. it was storming so bad our power went out, but the boys were so dedicated to tattooing that they both figured out a way to get enough electricity from the car to power the gun. logan and i really enjoyed hanging out with josh. i’m so happy i could introduce them to each other. “the good die young” and josh was a great, caring man. prayers to his family. josh is so loved. ❣️
