John Plater

Johns been my best friend for the past few years, we’ve danced our legs off to Black Sabbath and Elvis. He’s told us stories about family trips to the zoo, complete with hand actions and lion roars. He’s talked me ear off day after day. He used to complain about the weight he was gaining and then get me to pinch him 2/3 Ice creams(which I’d do). We’ve dressed up, we’ve laughed till we were crying. I, and all the girls, LOVED John/ captain. We all had male names and we’re not sure why, and when I eventually moved from Henry to Millsy, it was there we settled, he was captain and I was Millsy. I’ll miss him. My thoughts are with you lot, you really are all lovely. He was so proud of you. He’d remind me when I’d kiss him on the cheek, he was married! Such a character. He loved you all very much. And knowing you Lot as well as John has been a pleasure. He’ll be missed. A lot!
