John Hartfield

John Hartfield is one of the stories of horror that will be remebered forever in stain on america's history as he was hung for being falsely accused of raping a white girl. Over 10,000 came to see the hanging. Once he hung, the crowd riddled his body with over 2,000 bullets. Parts of his body were then chopped off and sold as souvieners and the rest of his body was burned. His family was forced to flee Ellisville, Mississippi in one story of the great migration.
