Jesus Comforts His Disciples - John 14:1-3. 1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

To my immediate family, church family and my East Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center family. It was my privilege to have known each and every one of you. My life on the 3rd floor at East Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was worth living. I do not want a sermon. Instead, please honor my life by singing the songs I enjoyed sharing with the staff and residents:
- Amen.
- Amazing Grace.
- What A Friend We Have In Jesus.
- Precious Lord Take My Hand.
- How Great Thou Art.
Thank you all and God Bless you, John H. Chisolm, Jr.

I would like to extend my condolences to the Chisolm family. Your father was our neighbor at 550 for many years. He was such a wonderful friend to my family. Even after all these years, he would regularly call my Dad to say hello and extend well wishes and good cheer. It was our pleasure to have known him and called him a friend. They don't make them like John anymore. He was a man of faith and honor. He will be missed. Sonia Tirado and family, Jesus, Carmen and Beatrice 16 B

In Loving memory of Mr. John H. Chisolm: An great provider and patriarch of his family, a loving father with his beautiful wife at his side. I know Mr. John as I called him the nickname (Scope) who was full of laughter and a "goofy" sense of humor. What a Blessed man! He loved the Lord and his family. I last saw and spoke to him in March and I told him he looked good, he said, I do smiling. We will always have the memories of him and his wife and the laughs of his sense of humor. May he take his rest in Glory. Love Jackie Womack

It was a true honor and privilege to meet Mr. John Chisolm. I will never forget his beautiful, beaming smile and kind and loving spirit. Mr. Chisolm used the Sunday bulletin from Rendall Memorial Presbyterian Church to teach Bible Study on his floor. Amazing! Rendall's elder and deacon told me he had a large following. What a great spirit. What a great human being. My heartfelt condolences to the family. God certainly blessed you to have Mr. John Chisolm. I extend love to you just as Mr. Chisolm's bright smile always, always extended light and love to me. May God rest his dear soul and I pray your comfort in Jesus Christ in whose presence and fellowship he now rests. The Reverend Dr. Flora Wilson Bridges, Pastor, Rendall Memorial Presbyterian Church
