Jessee James Palmer

Years and years ago while we were just new at Transit together, it was my birthday and we were working evenings together. So Jessee was super excited to buy me lunch, said it was the least he could do etc etc lol. I said ok sure, thanks man. So we go to McDonald's, he orders about 5 pounds of food for himself, tells me to get as much as I could too. Lol, so I do. We get to the window and she tells us the total, and he's fumbling around his coveralls looking for his wallet. He forgot it at work lol. I tell him, it's ok man it's all good, not to worry about it, but he feels just awful I can tell. We get back to work and he tells me he's gonna get the next one and all that, I'm laughing saying, "dude it happens, don't worry about it".We sit down to eat, and he has 4 quarter pounders sitting there ready to go. I'm hear him, say WTF outloud, I turn to see what's going on. He starts opening all the burger boxes and not one of them had a meat patty in them. Lol so I'm laughing now and so is he, so I ended up splitting all my birthday meal with him. So the next few years on my birthday he was sure to have cash on him so it didn't happen again lol. We laughed about that for years. Jessee and I had alot of good times together, alot of good talks about women, life, sports and we could talk for hours. I'll miss those talks. We went to different departments after awhile and I always liked pulling into the garage he was at, hoping to see him and have a quick chat. He always had time for everyone, he always would help out wherever he could. I'll always remember Jessee, he was a beauty. Until we see again buddy.
