6 avril 1930 - 31 août 2025
Jerome Kaufman passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, with his loving wife of 73 years, Florence, by his side. Jerry has always been the sweetest, silliest, most genuinely humble man, with his long life enriched by his younger brother, his son, 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. At this time, his family invites you to share your memories, anecdotes, and photos of Jerry so we can celebrate 95 years well lived.

I won’t ever forget how much of my life I was able to have with my grandfather! I always bragged about him as he was always cracking jokes, being silly and always remembering to call me his “favorite granddaughter” no matter his age, haha. All who had Poppy in their life, those are the lucky ones! He will be so missed 💕

Mr Kaufman was a Wonderful Husband and Father ! I’ve met him a few times & have visited his upstate home on the Lake with his daughter Wendy who is a dear friend. I can remember how kind & welcoming he & his wife Florence were to me ! I know what a Good Father & Husband he was just by meeting his Children & Wonderful wife of 70plus years. How often his Daughter Wendy Spoke so Highly of Him always with a smile! Mr Kaufman was a Blessing to all who came in contact with him . May he rest in Peace! With all my love JoAnne Blanchard

My grandfather was a unique man of many talents, but my favorite memories of him always involved laughing. He knew how to make you smile, make you think, and always had a way of adding a new bit of historical or scientific knowledge you didn’t know before. He could be serious and sentimental, but you always knew you were getting authentic Poppy. I’ll miss his laugh, and his pinches.
