James Charles Odell

So many memories of James. Here are two: he's at the wheel in Toronto his first wedding. We are driving to the scene and he clips another car. We speed from the scene. "If the Mounties catch us, the wedding is off," says Jimmy. They didn't catch us and his wedding with Dawn proceeds smoothly. Many years later, I'm invited to his third wedding, with an Israeli whom he had a rather up and down wedding. They found the pastor on some social media site. He was a guy who travelled around doing weddings. The wedding took place outside of New Hope, Pennsylvania in a rustic house that let us know it was an artist's home. Most of the people there were Israelis. I believe I was there for all of his weddings. And now he's gone.
