Johnny...my heart goes out to you and your family....I never had the chance to meet Jack but he was a terrific opponent like yourself over the years in fantasy baseball. You are an outstanding character person and your dad would be extremely proud of the person you are.

I miss u jack. We had a lot of fun all of us together with all our brother riders. I miss our Saturday breakfasts telling each other about our previous week. I miss u phoning or texting me and giving me a new quirky name. Life is way to short and losing a special friend is hard on all of us but we will all cherish the memories we had. Love you bud and keep Bob company till we meet again.

I would like to offer my Condolences to the Lowther family, from the Hoefling family. I met John first in Junior High School, then Jack later playing slo-pitch along with John. Jack always had a smile and loved to give us “young” guys a good ribbing. I remember going for lunch during a tournament and not one person wasn’t laughing as Jack and John kept us cracking up. Then being generous Jack picking up the bill for lunch! At the time this moment felt like another great day playing ball, but in retrospect this day/memory will always be more than just a day playing ball for me.........for I selfishly got to spend time with my best friend who was gracious enough to allow be to share this valuable moment with him and his dad. For this first moment, and everyone there after I thank the Lowther family......for sharing this great man, husband and father Jack! To my friend John, the great part for me is being able to talk to you and hearing your Dads humour and prospective coming through in your voice. Look forward to getting together and sharing more Jack memories, he had a positive affect on many people. Rest in Piece Jack You are and will be missed. Steve Hoefling
