He was an avid supporter of higher education and sponsored an annual student scholarship each year at the University of Colorado, Department of Ethnic Studies.He was a true visionary who will be missed by all who have ever come in contact with him. We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. The pain never ends, but neither do the beautiful memories. Keep those memories forever in your heart and talk about the good times as often as possible. Count each moment, not as one away from Ben, but one moment closer to being with him again. For the Bible calls death an "enemy", and God promises that he will bring it "to nothing".(1 Corinthians 15:26) This promise of God will do away with death and the pain it causes. It is my sincere hope and prayer that this will comfort your hearts.
