Ilene Housely

Ilene Housely, age 82, of Winder, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of steadfast faith. Ilene is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Housely, and her daughter, Kathleen Housely. She is survived by her loving children: Elizabeth Johnson, Robin Housely, and Billy Housely, as well as three cherished grandchildren: Crystal Edwards, John Cominski, and Stephanie Brantley.

Ilene will be remembered for her strength, independent spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. She found joy in decorating her home, and her creativity brought warmth and beauty into every space. Her unwavering faith in God was a guiding force throughout her life.

She touched the lives of all who knew her and leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, resilience, and grace.
