Hollis Joe Burroughs II

Hollis was a shining light to anyone he knew. He was always friendly, laughing and stubborn as an ox. He enjoyed woodworking, being in the outdoors and staying busy. Hollis was always a hardworking man and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was a loving, caring, father, brother and son. He often looked forward to his daughter's trips to Texas and loved to take her on many unique adventures. Krause Springs, Hamilton's Pool, and Garner State Park were among their favorites, along with any river tubing trip. Hollis was a member of First Christian Church in Conroe, Tx and leaves behind his daughter Holly Burroughs, loving brother Campbell Burroughs and mother Alice Cunningham. Hollis peacefully passed away in the early morning of May 27th, 2021 in the company of his loved ones. Please feel free to share a memory and keep his family in your prayers. May Hollis Rest In Peace with the good Lord and God rest his soul. Celebration of Life details will be forthcoming as attendance is limited to family and close personal friends.
