John Austin

I am so sorry to hear of Herb's death. We were "cellmates" on the Carson National Forest in the Hippy Years (1960s) and enjoyed so many fun experiences together. I will never forget our days working on the various projects that were going on, and of course just as much fun were the after-work activities...Christmas parties, summer picnics, and even a few highly competitive poker games after hours. Whenever I think of my friend Herb, the first thing that comes to mind is his roaring laughter during one of our fun days or nights. So long partner. John W.
