I miss you man. Too many stories to tell you. So many jokes only you will get. This new phase of life I cannot get used to it. As I look back, I realize you cleared a path that made life easier for me, as your little sister. You were an example and a role model. Our relationship was not perfect but it was ours. I loved you so much Kabu Yaks and always will. Aye mehn, some days I think my heart cant take it. Cheebok. You lived well my dear. You lived well.

A horrible event befell us on July 5 . Hawa Ellen was taken from this world prematurely leaving an indelible void in our hearts for eternity. Upon hearing of the news of her passing, I assured myself it was a nightmare. The following morning reality set in and the painful truth of Hawa’s death left me bewildered and sorrowful. What I have left are only fond memories of Hawa Ellen who was the epitome of beauty and grace. Her intelligence, personality and culinary skills were unmatched I love you Kabu and may your transition into the afterlife be as successful as your life on earth.
