Gregory Young

Gregory M. Young, 39 of Fayetteville, Georgia passed away suddenly on June 21, 2023. He was born August 21, 1983, in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of Carol E. (Moser) Young and Jeffrey A. Young.

Greg was a much-loved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Greg graduated from McIntosh High School, Class of 2001in Peachtree City where he had a stellar soccer career. He then went on to follow his soccer career at Jacksonville University.

Greg lit up any room he was in. He was always the life of the party, making friends everywhere he went. He had a passion for cooking. You would find him in the kitchen every holiday or really any chance he could get. He was the biggest Braves fan and was one of the original founders of Andrew’s Brew Crew. Also, Greg’s love for soccer brought him to every Atlanta United soccer game where he was a season ticket holder. Greg has always had a love for animals and would collect food to donate to a local charity. Greg would also give back to the community where he would prepare and deliver food to the homeless during the holidays. His love for traveling brought him on a trip of a lifetime touring Europe. Cherishing his memory are his mother, Carol (Moser) Young, father, Jeffrey (Toni)Young, sister, Jennifer (Harold) Bodden, his niece Skyler and, his two furry four-legged girls Zoe and Dixie.
