Gabrielle Myers

The family of Mackenzie Gabrielle Myers is deeply saddened to announce that their sweet angel went home to Jesus on October 14th, 2018. Gabrielle touched the lives of all who had the honor of knowing her throughout her short, yet memorable life. In a life filled with adversity and challenges, Gabrielle’s strength, courage and happiness persevered and shone through with a special light. Family and friends can both mourn the loss of her life, but also celebrate the life she led and the lessons she gave us. For all the ways she taught us about life and love, for inspiring us to be better, and for all the love she gave while she was here with us, she was a gift to each of us. Precious memories of Gabrielle will be held deeply in our hearts; her sweet smile, her contagious laughter, how she never met a stranger, the way her tiny hand literally wrapped around her daddy’s finger when they went for a walk, and most of all, the overwhelming happiness she exuded. We find solace in knowing that Gabrielle now walks bravely with a healthy body and mind in heaven where she’ll be waiting to meet us again someday. Gabrielle is survived by her father Kory Myers (Mary Myers), mother Cindy Bacon, brother Noah Myers, paternal grandparents Rose Mary Myers and Jim Myers, maternal grandparents Woodrow and Shirley Bacon, aunts Kimberly Lamansky, Stacy Bacon, Kelli Myers Blake (Mark Blake), and many beloved cousins. A memorial visitation and service will be held at Christ the King Church, 5296 Park Ave, Memphis, TN 38119.
