Frederick Ray Burdette

Frederick Ray Burdette was born on June 21, 1944. He was adopted by Paul and Virginia Burdette in Lewisburg, WV. He passed on August 11, 2021.

He served in the United States Navy in his younger years during the peace time, just before the Vietnam War. He was also a truck driver for most of his adult life. He loved his work, but most of all, he loved his family. They were his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Virginia Burdette; son Darrell Burdette. He is survived by his son Jimmy Prater of Siloam Springs, AR; son Timothy "Peanut" Burdette of Tecumseh, OK; daughter Windy Burdette of California City, CA; son William "Bobby" Burdette of NC; daughter Bonnie Burdette Edwards of Tecumseh, OK. His grandchildren: Melanie Prater of OKC, OK; Brittany Prater of OKC, OK; Robert Prater of Shawnee, OK; Melaney Lucks of Lancaster, CA; David Lucks of Boron, CA; Rylie Edwards Byrd, Darrell Edwards and Zophyah Edwards of Tecumseh, OK. Great grandchildren: Jasmine, Heather, and Brandon Prater, Jimmy Prater, Liam Prater, Kiara Prater, and Meadow Byrd.

He is loved by many and will be missed, but never will be forgotten.
