Forever in our hearts. His spirit will live on through his music!
Frank (Francis) Mark Callingham aka Freewheelin’ Frank Kelly
Gone too soon on August 10th 2020 at 66 years young, with one of his best friends, Ken Olson, by his side at RUH Saskatoon.
Frank played his first guitar over 50 years ago and nothing short of a major heart attack could stop the music he so enjoyed creating.
He was a talented musician and songwriter who became a large part of the music families in Ontario, BC, and Saskatchewan throughout his life. He recorded solo and with many others.
Welcomed by those who have gone before him; Dad (Donald 1995), Mom (Nora 2017), as well as many Aunts, Uncles, friends & fellow musicians.
Frank leaves family and friends (many who were more like family) from across Canada and around the world to keep him forever in our hearts.
Brother Fred (Denise), Sisters; Anna (late Roger) & Anita (Frank). Also Nieces & Nephews; Dawn, Joyce, Frank Jr, Sandee, Laurie, Mark, B.J, Teala and JoAnna along with their families.
We would like to thank all of the dedicated Medical Personnel in Meadow Lake, Saskatoon and Regina for their supreme efforts to keep Frank with us.
A Celebration of Frank’s life is being held in Saskatchewan on August 29 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. It will take place outdoors at the Do-A-Set site in Gruenthal Sk. just north of Saskatoon.
Celebrations in B.C. and Ontario will be announced later due to COVID restrictions.
In keeping with Frank’s outlook on life, the greatest memorial donation would be to keep his love of life and music alive. Be kind and caring, help others whenever you can and mentor a young musician or artist in your community.
A truly free spirit and a friend to all of those he met along the way, Frank’s memory will live on through his music, as his soul moves on to rest in paradise.Wherever you are right now, raise a glass to this incredible man, Just be sure it’s from the “Top Shelf”.

Spent many an hour with Frank at school, at the coffee shop/drop in center on Argyle street and jammng in central park and at his house. His mom made root beer in the basement that we were treated to occasionally. Funloving Devi! May care FRIEND. Rest in peace.

My name is Groover. In memory of Frank, I will be at Buds tonight in Saskatoon, May 5th, 2024. Frank was like a father or brother to me. I would also not be here without him. RIP.

Life is definitely precious and I miss you very much. In time like this you still want to just say one more love you or even give a big hug.You always knew what song to sing to cheer people up. I love you I hope you are flying high and playing your music you loved. Your god daughter I hope I made you proud

Frank was one of my great friends. He would always visit me in Kelowna going through or me in Sask or visiting the islands myself during one of his Gabriola trips. I will miss him dearly n
