Farid Navidazar was born to Esmail Navidazar and Tahereh Hajaghaie on March 25, 1959, in Tabriz, Iran. He was the second youngest of five siblings, and his birth was a beautiful Nowruz gift to his family. At a young age, Farid moved with his family to Tehran where he would settle until he left to attend college in the United States at the age of 19.

While in college in Oklahoma, he met and fell in love with fellow student Tori Prudhomme. They soon married and had a daughter named Rohya. Although their marriage did not last, Farid and Tori remained close throughout the years. Farid continued to be a very loving and devoted father even when he was far away, and he always made sure that his daughter was well taken care of.

Throughout the years, Farid lived in many places, but his heart and his home was always in southern Florida. He loved the weather, the people, and the scene. It is there where he lived the majority of his life and had his business, a luxury auto dealership. Although Farid did not have relatives in Florida, he did not lack for family. He had a loving community of friends that he adored and cherished, and they felt the same of him.

Farid was an exceptionally talented musician. He taught himself how to play both guitar and piano. Whenever there was a gathering of friends or family, Farid was guaranteed to bring out his guitar and serenade everyone. He had a beautiful voice that you could sit and listen to for hours.

Throughout his life, Farid was known to be a polite, kind, generous, and caring person. He was always looking to help those in need, and everyone knew that if they ever needed help with anything, they could go to him. In addition to his kindness, Farid had an incredible sense of humor. He loved to laugh, make jokes, and just be silly. He always had a positive vibe.

Farid loved many things, but if you asked him to name just a few, music, food, soccer, cars, and his grandson, Youssef, aka “Mini-Me” would be on his list. Although he was very sick in the last few weeks of his life, he got to enjoy all of the things on this list.

Farid leaves behind his only daughter, Rohya, his son-in-law, Hany, and his beloved grandson, Youssef. He also leaves behind his siblings Mohammad, Saeed, Momi, and Vahid, as well as a number of dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and dear friends.
