Everett Starks

Age 40, died Saturday, May 9, 1998, in Ft. Myers as a result of an automobile accident. Mr. Starks was born in Fremont, MI on September 4, 1957, the son of Everett William Starks, Sr. & Virginia Ridsdale. He attended Laingsburg High School & resided most of his life in Laingsburg, the last 10 years in Ft. Myers, FL. He served in the U.S. Army & worked in construction. On October 15, 1988, he married Sheila Garringer in Ft. Myers & she survives him. Also surviving are 4 children, Robert, Chris, Evan, & Allison; parents, Robert & Virginia Ridsdale, Everett & Mirtha Starks, & Jim & Sue Garringer; brothers & sisters, Diana Lee (George) Keck, Dean (Rosemary) Ridsdale, Jeff (Kim) Ridsdale & Melody (Mark) Blackledge; grandparents, Lawrence & Clara Ridsdale, & Harold & Georgia Blackmer; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Theadore. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 15, 1 p.m. at Nelson-House Funeral Homes, McDougall Chapel, Laingsburg, with Pastor Ron Bence officiating. Burial in Laingsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Everett is greatly missed to this day.
