Some of my most special childhood memories are the simple, beautiful moments spent with you. Staying over during school holidays, waking up to the smell of tea and hearing you softly whistling in the mornings - always so calm, so happy, so gentle. You made everything feel safe. You took such care in the little things… making us lunches, popcorn, and those mornings with Marie biscuits, butter and tea that I'll never forget. Your cooking was something else - the most delicious roast potatoes at Christmas, your incredible baking, Christmas cakes, and of course, your scones with butter and jam… no one could ever come close. You were always there. Always ready to help, to fix something, to lend a hand without ever being asked - whether it was my gate at home or anything anyone needed. You gave so much of yourself so effortlessly. I'll always remember sitting in the garden with you, watching the birds, or spending time together watching National Geographic. You taught me how to play pool, and we shared so many laughs always. You were such a big, constant part of my life growing up - you and Nan always there, always present. The way you loved… so deeply and purely. The love you had for Nan, for all of us, even for Charlie - it was something truly special to witness. You showed us what kindness, loyalty, and real love looks like. Your smile, your warmth, your gentle nature… those are the things I'll carry with me forever. Thank you for the love, the memories, and the quiet, steady way you made the world feel better just by being in it. I love you forever and always ❤️🥰🥹
