On what would be Mum’s 68th birthday (28th July), we will gather at a beach hut on Lowestoft Beach (with many thanks to her friend Julia Ogley and her family)

We would like to invite all family and friends to join us to commemorate her at a place that she loved to spend time and go for walks. Please put it into your diary and we will communicate details closer to the time

If you would like to contribute food and refreshments, we would encourage you to bring something reduced / ‘with a yellow sticker’ in memory of Mum’s love of hunting for reduced bargains at the supermarket

Birthday Celebration

Please RSVP via this website or directly to Luke

PROCEEDINGS
Please arrive in time for a 1200 start.
Dress code is smart, no need for black. Please wear a brightly coloured scarf in memory of my Mum’s love of scarves. If you do not have one, we would like you to purchase a scarf from a charity shop, something she loved to do
We will not have flowers on the coffin as "flowers are meant to be in the garden". You are, however, welcome to bring a single stem to place on the coffin at the end of the proceedings.

DONATIONS:
This Tribute is supporting James Paget University Hospitals Charitable Fund (in particular, the Sandra Chapman Cancer Unit) and Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). You can make a Donation by going to: https://elizabethandrews.muchloved.com/Donate

Elizabeth Andrews Service of Remembrance

Please join us for a bite to eat and refreshments at the Coach House (formerly known as Hedley House).

Elizabeth Andrews - Wake

From 25th January until day before funeral, if you would like to pay respects, Mum will be at the Chapel of Rest, Critoph and Crowe in South Lowestoft

We intend to dress her in her gardening clothes. Partly because this is how she was dressed when she was at her happiest and most at peace with the world, and partly because she would be livid with us if we cremated any of her nice clothes(!). We know that wherever she is now, she is probably there picking weeds.

Viewings / pay respects at Chapel of Rest

A relaxed afternoon to come to the house to share condolences and memories. Refreshments provided

As Mum never got round to writing a list of items for friends and family, we invite you to spend time in her room to reflect on memories and, if there is an item you want to remember her by, please let us know. If you would like to take one of Mum’s scarves for the funeral, please do also. We would also like you to take a plant home with you from our garden, plant it in your own garden, and to nurture it in her memory.
