I remember Uncle Frank as a warm, loving and insightful man. He was one person - an adult - who listened and made me feel fully seen and heard as a child and teenager. Though he had his routines and way of life and habits, he was always open to learning or hearing something new, which was very empowering to me. I miss him dearly and am glad that I was able to jump on a plane to visit him from LA at the end of February 2019. My cousin Panna suggested we go out to dinner. And even though keep Kosher now and don't eat lobster anymore, I remembered how to get the meat out of the shell and helped Frank. We managed to eat a memorable dinner and this was the last time I was able to visit with my dear Uncle Frank Lossy. He will be dearly remembered and missed.

Frank was a true renaissance man. Scientist (medicine). Art (expert photographer, appreciative fan of poetry and drama), and athletics (expert sailor and zip-liner) I have posted some pictures from our zip-lining experience in 2009 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Frank was in his 80s and was zip-lining, repelling down water falls, keeping up with all of us and having a blast.
