Stacy Bosma
Diane's Hija
Diane Bosma
12 de febrero de 1952 - 26 de enero de 2021
12 de febrero de 1952 - 26 de enero de 2021
After living a life faithful to Jehovah, Diane passed away in Spanaway, WA on January 26, 2021, five months after the diagnosis of cancer that was no longer treatable.
She was born Diane Gail Conner in Anchorage, AK on February 12, 1952 and was raised in Seattle, WA. Baptized in 1969, she pioneered for five years before getting married on February 18, 1978 to Russ Bosma. She raised two daughters, Stacy, born 1982, and Jodie, born 1986.
In 1990, the family moved to Woodward, OK so that they could be near her parents, Loren and Norine Conner. They enjoyed their time there, but decided they missed Seattle and moved back the next year. In 2015, Russ and Diane moved to Ephrata, WA. They then moved to Spanaway, WA in 2017.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers, gardening, reading and teaching others about Jehovah. She spent much time in the ministry telling others about God's kingdom, forming many friendships along the way.
She had strong faith in Jehovah's promise that "there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." Acts 24:15 We look forward to the day very soon where we will welcome her back.
"If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands." Job 14:14,15

I wish I had a picture of her when she came to my house once; she was wearing a T-shirt that said "Just give me chocolate, and nobody gets hurt!" It made me laugh. Also one of our favorite cats was a feral kitten we got at the Bosma's house.

I know you miss Diane and you have beautiful memories to keep you encouraged the short time until you see her smiling face again. One of my best memories was the night Jodie was born. I was pregnant with Bernadette and really wanted to have a home birth but was very nervous. Diane and Russ were kind and generous to invite me to attend the home birth, Unfortunately, I was detained and arrived just after she was born. It was still a delightful experience and much appreciated.

We enjoyed getting to know the Bosma family while we attended Boulevard Park Congregation. This picture was taken at my parents 30th anniversary party in 1991. Diane was such a devoted wife and mother. I will always remember her kindness to my family and her diligence in keeping a truly spotless home. I look forward to seeing my dear sister again soon!

Hi. This is Joan Roberts. I loved the Bosman's. They were so easy to talk to. When I moved up to Tri-Citits, WA, l was suprised and pleased to see them at Conventions or Circuit Assemblies so we could catch up. I loved the way Diane decorated her house! I'm so sorry to hear about her passing. To the family, aren't we happy to know about the ressurrection!

We have many great memories with Russ & Diane, including a costume party in 1997 (see photo!). We appreciate the years of hospitality and treat nights at their home after book study. We join you in looking forward to the resurrection. What a grand time that will be!
