Desiree Wright

Desiree Victoria (Bond) Wright, affectionately known as Des or Desi, peacefully passed away on July 14, 2023, in her lifelong hometown of Seattle, Washington. She was 47 years old.

Desiree was born on April 8, 1976, in Seattle, Washington, to Robert and Claudette Bond. She was proceeded in death by her father, Bob Bond.  She is survived by her husband, Perryn Wright, mother, Claudette Bond as well as her sisters, Noelle Thayer and Alexandra Bond. 

She was a vibrant soul, known for her beautiful, caring nature, honesty, and hilarious sense of humor. Desiree's warm and genuine personality touched the lives of all who knew her.

Throughout her life, she embarked on various career paths, including being a rock star barista, server, and bartender. Her infectious energy and exceptional service left an indelible mark on her colleagues and guests alike.

A celebration of Desiree's life will be held on Sunday, August 20th, at 5pm at Metropolist in SoDo. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor her memory and share stories of her remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Surge Rreproductive Justice, The Max Foundation, Team Survivor Northwest, Fair Workcenter, or the Seattle Animal Shelter. These organizations held a special place in Desiree's heart, and contributions made in her memory will continue to make a positive impact.

Desiree Victoria Wright will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of warmth, kindness, and laughter will forever be cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.
