6 de agosto de 1961 - 29 de septiembre de 2022
David Valdez Jr. passed away unexpectedly Sept. 29, 2022. Dave is survived by his wonderful wife, his son, 3 daughters, their spouses, and 4 amazing grandchildren, 2 godsons & goddaughter that he loved to the moon and back, and an impressively large extended family; some related, some by marriage, and some he "adopted", but all were his family and he loved them all unconditionally. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
This memorial page is a work in progress. We will be updating as often as possible. Please check in for updates from Dave's family, service info, and to read the lovely tributes to Dave.(Scroll to the bottom of page to post a tribute.)
We want this to be a place where friends and family can share stories, pictures, and condolences, to honor the love and humor Dave brought to us all. This page will remain up for the foreseeable future, so whether today, in a week, or even a year from now, if you reminisce, please post it here.
Dave's family, especially his wife Deanna, would like to thank Dave's IATSE brothers and sisters for all your support, kind words, and outpouring of love. It means the world to us.
Rest in peace Dave. You were loved by so many, and will be missed beyond measure.

9/25/22 We unexpectedly ran into Dave and Deanna at Dodger Stadium. What a blessing, as it turned out.
Tio @ Tia

Dave it has been hard knowing you will never be at Tio @ Tia‘s again but you will always be in our hearts. You always came over since you got together with my beautiful niece for my parties and I have many pictures. One thing I remember so much to this day is, we were at LA fair with you guys, Tio bought me a lamp then there was this little tricked butterfly that I wanted. We did not buy it, but you surprised me with it I will never forget how thoughtful you were. I will always treasure this and remember how you always was there for everyone. We love you Dave my nephew and you will never be forgotten we have so many great memories with you and your family, our house, yours, grandmas, Joe and Nina, and all the the trips and things we did together. Yes we have great memories that we will hold dear to our hearts and never let go. We will miss our phone calls from you, you always may sure to call and see how we were doing specially these last two years. Rest in Peace my beloved nephew, you are now our Angel watching over your family and all of us. You are loved so much. Tio and Tia

One of my favorite pics. Taken on DeAnna’s 50th birthday. You were so much to so many people. You will be missed more than you know. We love you Dave. All our love, thoughts and prayers to the family. ❤️
