Cordell Allen

Cordell was born in Clarksonville, St. Ann, to parents David (Ole D) and Lesma (Miss Rita) Easington. She was the first of 12 children, 9 boys and 3 girls. After attending Clarksonville Primary school she went to live in May Pen, Clarendon to learn dressmaking. While living in May Pen, she met Willie Allen. The two set up home together and later married. The union produced 6 children, Robert, Jacqueline, Wayne, Devon, Oniel, and Tracy-Ann. Cordell absolutely loved gardening, flowers - to be more specific. She adored her children and was devoted to caring for them. She was well respected in her community and will certainly be missed by all.
