Colville "Ivor" Ivor Basom

Ivor the youngest son in a family of five, always stood out. His older siblings, towering above him in age, had paths that diverged early from his own. Life threw its shadows early; Ivor was just twelve when his mother passed away, leaving him to be raised by his father. Despite the age gaps Ivor’s bond with his family only deepened, blending the lines between generations.

Though only a handful of years separated him from his nieces and nephews, in their eyes, he was “Uncle Ivor” -a testament to Ivor’s inherent ability to guide and nurture. He was a mentor by nature, his youthful energy masking an old soul’s wisdom. This unique position in the family’s hierarchy foreshadowed the role he would someday embrace with wholehearted devotion: a coach, a mentor, a beacon for young spirits on the football field, turning life's challenges into lessons of resilience and passion.
