Clyde has always been the ideal collaborator who's knowledge and experience were so helpful. Our working relationship has always been the most professional and pleasant. He will be sorely missed as part of our community.
Verna Garcia

I will always remember Clyde as a very caring person, always ready to lend a hand. A true family man. He always took the time to speak with my mom and dad who always enjoyed visiting with him - he was their neighbor for a good many years. We love you. Rest in Peace.

My favorite memories of Clyde were our meetings at his shop to review a set of ironwork plans. I'd drop off a set of drawings to review with him to bid and he'd dissect them before they were unrolled. After he flipped through them completely while also making snarky comments about "architects sitting behind a desk", he'd go over each and every item with you to help you understand the problem. He wasn't selfish with his time or help. Along with working through the details, we'd catch up, laugh, and joke about everything under the sun. If there was a mistake with his iron in the field, he'd take care of the issue, no questions asked. He was a one-of-a-kind, selfless, fun loving, hard working, expert in ironwork.

I met Clyde in 1995. I was new in the construction world but Clyde would always take the time to explain and impart his wisdom. After looking over a set of drawings, I can hear him saying now, "that ain't gonna work" as he would quickly start sketching how it was going to work. Clyde was a great problem solver. As I would quickly come to find out, if you were willing, Clyde was always ready for a conversation on iron work, the Astros, the Texans, his property near Bedias, hotrods, or NASCAR. Clyde knew everyone and just about everyone was a friend. Clyde was at least 15 minutes early to just about every meeting we ever had. That shows his commitment and integrity to not just his business but to his life. Clyde was a joker, a craftsman, a good friend, a good boss, a good business man, a good leader, a good husband, a good father, and great man. He will be missed.
Henry Buenrostro

Clyde, I want to thank you for all the great times we had together at the baseball fields as we watched our boys grow into young men. We drank plenty of cold beer together and talked plenty of shit. I will never forget the time we got busted drinking beer in the outfield by a female cop on a horse at Rothwood watching the Hawks play ball. She was going to give us a ticket but you where able to talk her out of it. 😂😂 Clyde I will miss you but know that we will see each other again on the other side. Have me a cold one ready when I get there buddy. It's not bye, it's I will see you later.
