Recuerdos

“I am not the same, having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.” -Mary Anne Radmacher

Christin Cram was a beloved friend, daughter, and devoted pet mom. She was a friend to all animals, opening up both her home and her heart to countless dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and any creature in need of love.

An avid traveler, Christin was always planning her next great adventure. Her favorite travel partner was her mother, with her dear friends a close second. She approached travel not as a mere collection of experiences, but as opportunities to deepen her understanding of herself and the world. Christin's face would light up whenever she talked about her many adventures, and she loved to capture her travels and share these experiences with the people she loved.

When she wasn’t traveling, Christin dedicated her professional life to helping others. She returned to school to become a counselor, and was committed to supporting people on their healing journeys. Christin helped countless people through her work in treatment centers and street outreach.

Christin will be remembered for her silliness, her radiant laughter, and the joy she brought to the people in her life. She worked hard to build a beautiful life for herself and will always be known for her strength, resilience, and dedication to helping others.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.

We went to mctc together. Started and ended r lady there. We kept it touch over the years after graduation. But the two memories that sticks out the most is are recovery event the first year at mctc and the shark tank with the addiction counseling club. That where this picture was taken at.

In 2021, I moved to Milwaukee from the twin cities. I didn’t want to throw a going away party, but I was told by some wise women to get over myself and do it anyways! At my going away party, Christin presented me with one of the most special, thoughtful gifts I have ever received: a going away book. In it, she had collected photos of me with my Minneapolis family (no small feat because I hate getting my picture taken) and letters from some of our mutual friends. Christin told me she wanted me to know that I was loved and would be missed, and instructed me to look at the book whenever I was feeling homesick. This was the kind of person Christin was- endlessly thoughtful and kind to others. She knew how hard it was to move, to start over, and never wanted anyone to experience the pain and loneliness she herself had experienced. I will never forget you Christin and the loving friendship you provided. I just hope we are able to honor and celebrate you the way you celebrated the people in your life.

Christin was my best friend for many years. We shared laughs, smiles, and adventures. Christin loved animals with all of her heart, always taking in the oldest or sickest she can. I can imagine she is holding piper again and loving every minute of it.
