Forever in our hearts.
Ma/Poh poh was the matriarch of the family and spent her life surrounded by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a strong tough woman but also the kindest loving maternal figure that showered everyone with lots of amazing nyonya food as a way of showing her love.
She was the most generous, animal loving, ice cream loving, amazing cook, kind hearted and with the funniest cheekiest sense of humour. She loved singing to the radio and is a whiz at mahjong and maths.
She had the hugest heart and our home was like a mini zoo we as she adopted all the stray animals home throughout her life.
She was also as tough as they come and would not hesitate to put anyone back in their spot and kept the family in line. She lived a full big life. She was a mother figure to all of us her whole life and have always put her love for her family above everything else.
She was a selfless loving mum, grandmother and great grandmother. She went all the way to UK for her grandchildren when they were born, to KL when Adel had her kids and to Perth when Melissa’s kids were born too. Many of our friends have also been blessed by her generosity and fed well by her delicious cooking.
We miss her so so much and everything she’s given to our families. We know she’s at peace now with Kong Kong, her loved ones and all her dogs.

Can't agree more! Aunty has a very good sense of humour, even tempered and loved her infectious laughs. RIP Aunty

I'm glad I was able to see her in 2019 before the pandemic. Many fond memories at the house especially during CNY. May she rest in peace.

Not enough space here to express all the great and funny moments with ‘Siew Hong’ aka Aunty! ….after she would cackle and called me ‘Boh ka see’ when I addressed her as Siew Hong - I can hear her say that now
